Overview
Horizontal Situation Indicator for Flight Simulator Home Cockpits v1.0
Feataures:
Indipendetly moving CDI, HDG, HDG Bug, Glideslope, To/Fr, Course Deviation Indication.
Required Hardware and Software:
5x 28byj-48 Stepper Motors
1x SG 90 Servo Motor
1x Slipring
Arduino Mega 2560
M3 Brass threads
M3 screws different lengths
MobiFlight Software or similar.
Assembly:
The parts are to be printed in mostly black basecolor. Parts like the CDI Rose etc. have elevated text that can be colored using a laquer pen to make painting easier.
The Panel has two holes for potentiometers to be placed through if desired.
INSTRUCTIONS can be found in the .pdf below.
Future Updates:
For integration into the sim I'm planning on writing a document with relevant information (i.e. corresponding variables).
Adding INOP Flags
If people want it, a version without the elevated writing, dots and lines.
