This parametric quick-release mount provides a fast and simple temporary solution for venting laser fumes through a light well grate. It is perfect when you want to get your laser exhaust system up and running quickly without making any permanent modifications.
Originally designed for the Bambu H2 Laser , this mount can also be used with many other laser engravers, fume extractors, and ventilation systems that use a flexible exhaust hose.
The hose diameter can be customized directly in the MakerWorld Parametric Model Maker , making the design compatible with a wide range of exhaust hoses.

4 × Cable ties
1 × Hose clamp
Flexible exhaust hose
Installation
Select the desired hose diameter in the MakerWorld Parametric Model Maker.
Print both parts.
Attach the mounting bracket to the light well grate using 4 cable ties .
Secure the exhaust hose to the adapter using a hose clamp.
Insert the adapter into the mount.
Rotate the adapter into the locking position.
Pull the adapter downwards until it fully engages the locking mechanism.
Removal
Push the adapter upwards to disengage the locking mechanism.
Rotate the adapter in the opposite direction.
Pull the adapter out of the mount.
Important Notes
Hose diameters below 80 mm are not recommended. Due to geometric limitations, the quick-release locking mechanism may no longer function reliably at smaller diameters.
The locking mechanism is intentionally designed with a tight fit to ensure a secure connection. During the first few insertions and removals, engaging the lock may require slightly more force. After several use cycles, the mechanism becomes noticeably smoother while maintaining a secure and reliable fit.
This model is intended as a temporary and easy-to-install solution for quickly routing laser exhaust through a light well grate.
Always ensure that laser fumes are exhausted safely to the outside and follow the safety recommendations provided by your laser manufacturer.
