Overview

I picked up a NIIMBOT D110 label printer, which comes in a small cardboard box—nothing fancy.

I figured I could make slightly more efficient use of the available space to fit a few rolls of labels alongside the printer, all while staying within the dimensions of the original packaging.

Remove the original packaging insert.

The original insert is just hot-glued in and can easily be removed.

The new - more space-efficient Insert

The new insert will make better use of the available space.

Better "opening experience"

The new insert adds some internal height. Since it is not fully covered by the lid, the box is much easier to open.

Print instructions from Prusa’s Printable Parts page

Print settings: 0.20mm QUALITY / STRUCTURAL

** Note that print settings are recommended, but you can experiment with your own.
