Overview

As a place of religious worship and a cultural carrier, the church holds an important position in architectural history, among which the Gothic church is one of the most representative styles. Gothic architecture originated in France in the second half of the 11th century and became widely popular in Europe from the 13th to the 15th centuries. With Catholic churches as its main application scenario, it integrates exquisite architectural techniques and artistic achievements. Its core features include pointed arches, ribbed vaults, flying buttresses, stained glass windows, and towering spires. Through structural innovation and the art of light and shadow, it creates a sacred atmosphere, becoming a symbol of medieval European culture. Its influence transcends time and space, and it remains a brilliant gem in the history of architecture and art to this day. The connection between "China" and churches can be traced back to ancient times. With cultural exchanges and religious dissemination in different historical periods, churches have left a unique mark on China's architectural style and religious activities. In recent years, the most striking example should be early Hong Kong horror films, where churches often appear as important scenes, and many mysterious elements create a sense of surreal horror. The inspiration for this work is to use these mysterious elements as the theme, focusing on the following points: 1. The structural innovation and the art of light and shadow of the Gothic Catholic church create a sacred atmosphere, explaining why it can become a symbol of European culture; 2. The gray church leaps out from the white background wall, making people feel a surreal and mysterious atmosphere; 3. The background wall is a color relief painting based on interior photos of the church, explaining the relationship between the external form and layout of the architecture, presenting the daily atmosphere of the church, and trying to let everyone understand church culture from multiple aspects and interpret it. Printing Instructions: For the main body of the church, supports are only needed at key parts, with about four supports at the junction of the horizontal and vertical roofs, facilitating printing and support removal. It can be printed entirely in gray or dark gray PLA or silk PLA, while the church base and background frame are in white PLA. The background wall painting is printed in four-color PLA: white, blue, red, and yellow. Assembly Instructions: 1. Prepare two sets of LED lights. You can choose the official LED accessories. One set is installed on the church base for church lighting, and the other is installed inside the background frame for background wall lighting. For the LED lights illuminating the background wall, it is recommended to choose ones with higher brightness. 2. The model has reserved circuit wiring holes, and the church base and background frame have reserved mounting components, which can be directly inserted and installed.
