Overview
Upgrade your display with buttery-smooth, wobble-free rotation. πβ¨
This model is a dedicated mechanical upgrade for the base mechanism of the popular "Rotating Bookmark Display Stand" and its improved variants. If you are looking to maximize the stability and spin quality of your heavy bookmark displays, this remixed roller base is exactly what you need.
This remix overhauls the internal roller system to accommodate a heavy-duty dual-bearing setup. Instead of relying on plastic friction or single small bearings, this base utilizes two 608 bearings on each roller (for a total of 8 bearings across the entire assembly). This ensures the heavy top display glides effortlessly without binding or tilting.
Additionally, the roller design has been unified. Instead of assembling multiple tiny parts, each roller is now designed to print as one solid, robust piece.

(Note: This upload includes the upgraded base mechanism and rollers only. You will need to download the main bookmark display body from the original models to complete the assembly!)
Design Highlights:
Maximum Stability: The 8-bearing configuration drastically reduces friction and easily handles the weight of a fully loaded display. π‘οΈ
Unified Rollers: Rollers are remixed into single solid pieces for superior structural integrity. π οΈ
Drop-In Replacement: Fully compatible with the upper tower of the original rotating bookmark display models. π§©
Hardware Requirements
To complete this base assembly, you will need standard skateboard bearings:
8x 608 Bearings (Two bearings are press-fit into each of the four printed rollers).
Recommended Print Settings
To ensure the rollers are perfectly round and the bearing tolerances are tight:
Roller Orientation: The rollers must be printed standing vertically on their end.
Walls: 3 to 4 wall loops are highly recommended for the base ring and rollers to ensure the bearing press-fit areas do not flex or split under tension.
Infill: 15β20% Gyroid.
