Overview
This is the V2 (Version 2) update of my decorative nut covers. Based on feedback and testing, I have re-engineered the internal tolerances to ensure a perfect friction fit. These caps snap securely onto standard metric hex nuts, covering sharp bolt threads and rusty metal surfaces. They are essential for baby-proofing furniture or simply adding a clean, finished look to your projects. The Set Includes (Standard Metric Hex Sizes): Small: M3, M4, M5 Medium: M6, M8, M10 Large: M12, M14, M16 Why print V2? Better Fit: No more loose caps falling off or tight caps cracking during installation. Safety: Covers exposed bolt ends to prevent scratches or snags. Clean Aesthetic: Smooth dome geometry hides ugly hardware. Printing Instructions: Orientation: Print flat on the hex opening (upside down). Supports: None required. Material: PLA works great. PETG/ASA for outdoor use. TPU is fantastic if you want a rubbery, unbreakable bumper.
