π Leica DISTO D2G Ground-to-Ceiling Measuring Stand A simple, purpose-built stand for the Leica DISTO D2G that makes vertical floor-to-ceiling measurements quick and easy. The stand holds the DISTO securely in an upright position, allowing you to place it directly on the floor and measure straight up toward the ceiling without having to balance or manually hold the device vertical. π― Why the Open Bottom? The bottom of the stand is intentionally left open so the DISTO itself makes direct contact with the floor. This prevents the thickness of the printed stand from adding an offset to your measurement and helps maintain the highest possible accuracy. β¨ Features - π Holds the Leica DISTO D2G vertically - β¬οΈ Designed for straight-up floor-to-ceiling measurements - π― Open-bottom design allows the DISTO to contact the floor directly - π No measurement correction or stand-thickness offset required - 𧱠Wide base helps keep the laser stable and properly positioned - β‘ Quick to place, measure, and move to the next location I designed this for situations where I need to take repeated vertical measurements and wanted something more stable and repeatable than trying to hold the DISTO upright by hand. FIXED MISTAKE!! - As of 11/19/2020, i fixed the dimension of the vertical side as this one was 3mm shorter than the horizontal which caused a difference of 7ΒΊ on the diagonal angle. Sorry about that!
