Overview

I have a height clearance issue in my case, so I designed this horizontal spool holder. It's my first own design, so I appreciate feedback or make pics :). You do not need any additional screws or bearings. I am using only parts from the original one. I uploaded two version. In my pictures I use the 70mm one, which should be fine for most spools. If you have a bigger one, use the 90mm version. The spool brake and filament guide was added to keep the plate from spinning too easily and the filament in the right place. Instructions: 1. Print the 4 parts 2. Use the screw and bearing of the original spool holder and screw it in the same way in the base plate 3. Unscrew the runout sensor mount and screw it back in on the other side. 4. Glue a piece of sponge or similar on the spool brake part. 5. Put it all together (It's not rocket science) :) Let me know if you experience any issues
