My heavy duty hanger for a wire rack cart or shelf I have a few wire rack shelves and rolling carts and they all seem to share the same uprights. The tubes that support the shelves are 1” diameter steel tubes with indented rings every 1”. I designed a heavy duty hanger for this shelf unit. The first hanger is a shaft collar that will bolt on to the 1” tubular leg. My prints get “elephant’s feet” and I even added a slight internal ring at the bottom. This will index into the grooves that are 1” apart on the tube legs. I used 3mm brass inserts in the shaft collar, with 3mm X 20mm socket head cap screws. I used the old school inserts, they just pull in with no heat. I’m pretty sure either style will work. You could even place a 3mm nut there, but it might be hard to get the screw started. The hanger is basically a scaled down purse holder but it wasn’t close enough to call it a remix. It is closer to thing Yet Another Test Lead Hanger But it still wasn’t a remix, it was a re-design. The next hanger is the same hanger but it will slip over the wire rack shelf lip instead of bolting to the leg. There is a brim at the bottom of the opening. Trim it away post print. While I was at it I made a third hanger. This one has a flat back. Use some very high bond double sided tape to stick it anywhere. Like the side or front of a tool box. Anywhere flat. I used double sided Gorilla tape. This hanger looks like a scaled down version of my test lead hanger. But it isn’t. You can use these hangers for a variety of uses. Tape measure hanger, anything with a string or a loop. They may be a bit small for test leads. But they seem to work. They are very strong, print one and try it out for yourself. I would not hesitate hanging a $500.00 meter on these hangers. YMMV. I printed these in ABS, .2 layer, 50% infill
