Overview

Needed a wall mount for my DeWalt DCD796 drill/driver (probably works with related models). The ones on here were either too big and complicated (with battery holders etc) or small and kinda weak. So I designed this big beefy one, with a big brace made to do one thing and do it well. I wanted it to look kinda futuristic as well to match the drill. I think it looks like a high tech ray gun charger or something :) I printed this with 4 shells and 20% infill with Maker Geeks Raptor HTPLA. Feels really solid, could probably go with fewer shells. After printing I highlighted the edges with some pewter Rub'n'buff because I thought it would look cooler. Fit was tight on my Prusa i3 Mk3, had to sand the area where the knurling is on the drill for just a couple seconds to make it perfect. Maybe scale it up 105% if your printer isn't that accurate. Mounts to the wall with 3 #6 drywall anchors. If you want to test your print settings before investing all the plastic, print the small barrel bit which is provided separately, and use it to test fit.
