Overview
Washers/shims for Ender 3 V3 SE/KE printers to help with bed levelling. The factory bed levelling of my Ender 3 V3 SE printer combined with the *Auto Z-Offset* levelling was not good enough for my liking, so I followed some tips/guides (shoutout this reddit thread) and decided to create these washers (more like sleeves) for the bed spacers. Combined with the *X gantry* levelling I got my bed to a level I was satisfied with (it would be far quicker if 0.30mm max difference was good enough for me but I had to spend almost a whole day on it). See before and after pictures of the auto levelling results. There are 5 different sizes: - 0.16mm - 0.20mm - 0.24mm - 0.28mm - 0.32mm I used a resolution to match the size of the washer, so there is only a single layer on the bottom (apart from 0.32mm, for this one probably use 0.16mm resolution). For the top left corner spacer (while facing the printer) I created a special, wider one for easier installation (the sizes are the same), but the universal one could be used there as well. I ended up using 0.24mm for the top left and 0.28mm for the top right corner. The washer sits on the slider plate under the spacer, therefore heat should not be a problem (I printed mine with PLA). How to level the bed: 1. Make sure your *X gantry* is level (see this official guide from Creality at 1 minute mark) 2. Run the *Auto Z-Offset* levelling and identify which corners need raising (take a picture of your results for later comparison) 3. Print the appropriate washers 4. Disassemble the print bed (4 screws), take the black spacer from underneath the corner you want to raise and put it inside the washer (make sure to press it all the way). Make note of which spacers go where since there are not the same height! (top and bottom left spacers are shorter) 5. Put the spacers back to their respective place with the washer on the bottom, place the bed back on top, put the screws in and tighten them in *criss-cross* pattern as tightly as comfortable. 6. Run the *Auto Z-Offset* levelling again, compare result and go back to Step 3 if you are not satisfied. The models were created in *Blender*, feel free to modify them for your needs (Blender file also provided).
