Overview
This one is The Seeker. I am working on trying to create less fragile pieces but maintain a certain design complexity we don't normally see in in 3d print models for lightsabers. This one does not require AMS but it does have a plate set up to do AMS for the button trim. It has also has a plate set up with the pause so you can color swap and one more with just a solid color. Minimal supports will be necessary as will some glue. I'm still playing with tolerances and I went a bit too loose on this one. I'll get it dialed in eventually. It doesn't take much glue and the finished product feels very solid. The 3MF has everything separated by color and already oriented for the best print. Lightsaber - AlloyThe 3rd in a set of modular sabers. Parts should be compatible with Force Ghost and the Warlord. Now that I am done with this set I have learned a few things about making a modular set.
Lifghtsaber - The AmbassadorGetting the tolerance on the alignment rods dialed in with different materials. The emitter shroud is a bit fragile but goes on fine with a little care. I didnt need any glue in the construction of this model.
Lightsaber - The MarauderI wanted to make a saber with a distinct sith feel to it. I drew this up thinking it wouldn't be so bad to build in Fusion, it was a pain to build in Fusion.
Space Warrior Laser SwordLoosely based on Star Wars Light Sabers, but this one is more like a dagger or laser combat knife. it's for use as a cosplay prop, or a simply as a toy sword.
lightsaber - Front LineI call this one Front Line. I made it a bit thicker and used, what I think to be, a more durable look. One inspired by plasteel armor with some cyber punk touches. This one does not have a solid alignment rod and requires more glue.
Lightsaber - SlipstreamIve named this one Slipstream. It has a ton of spacers so they have small holes in each to denote the order.
Lightsaber - Force GhostThis one is Force Ghost. It is the first one in a series of modular sabers I am creating where all the parts should be interchangeable. It has two alignment rods, the short goes on the bottom and the longer on top.
Lightsaber - The WandererI call this one The Wanderer. I opted for a more traditional style with this one so I could test out some new design choices in Fusion 360. I learned some things that will translate into better detailed models in the future.
