Overview
This custom enclosure is designed for the Raspberry Pi Zero 2W bundled together with the Waveshare Ethernet / USB Hub HAT (model 20416). It provides a precise fit, secure mounting, and reliable operation in a compact form factor.
The case uses the four included Waveshare screws and eight standoffs to mount the assembly from the bottom. The lid is secured with four additional M2.5 × 10 mm screws (not included), applying controlled pressure over the pogo pins to keep the Raspberry Pi firmly connected to the HAT.
The lid is designed to accommodate a 14×14 mm passive heatsink mounted on the CPU, allowing for improved thermal performance without modifying the enclosure.
All ports and key interfaces are fully exposed for easy access, including Ethernet, USB, power, microSD card slot, ribbon cable connector (CSI/DSI), and GPIO pins. This makes the enclosure suitable for both permanent setups and development use.

Multiple ventilation openings improve airflow and help maintain stable operating temperatures during continuous operation.
An optional GPIO pin cover cap is included for builds with a header installed, offering added protection and a cleaner appearance. It is designed as a tight friction fit and depending on print tolerances, slight scaling adjustments in the slicer may be required for optimal fit.
