X-Wing

This project was based on the project found on Thinginverse on the link: I made some modifications and personalizations. I also created the decals so they can be printed and added to the model giving it a very nice finishing. Some detalis were painted using the falowing Revel Enamel Colours: Details inside the wings: Metal Grey 91 & Black SM 302 Nose detais in yellow: Flourescent yellow SM312 Droid R2D2 top: Blue 52 The model was printed on PLA white and Grey, this facilitated the fininsh as there was no need for big painting areas only the details mentioned above. I used the 0.4mm nozle and the depending the parts details I used 0.1, 0.2 and 0.3mm leyar high. I also used the new feature from Prusa Slicer for adapataive layer high, this optimized the printing times without compromizing the level of detail. Hope you enjoy Updated on 13-3-2021 So after finish my model I was looking at it and though… “well, this model does not have a landing gear… is ment to be flying… so is better to make something to sit it on and pretening its flying…” So i designed this stand with 2 inclinations of 10 degress so it looks like the x-wing is flying on a left turn and climbing, giving it a dynamic look. The stand STLs are also added in the files. Update 5-06-2021 Added decals in PDF format.
