Summary:
This filament guide is designed to press-fit into the base of the 1/4" NPT quick disconnect fittings used in my dry box builds. The internal metal hex geometry of the fitting was causing filament drag, so this insert was created to provide a smooth, friction-free path through the connector. The specific fitting used in this build can be found here for reference. I also created a plug seen below.
