Overview
Introducing the ModuBox _V1
A box with a slightly different design approach, the hinges, and the locking mechanism are on the side panels of the box which are printed separately and connected to the lid and body of the box with M3 screws.
The lid and body are smooth and clean, without hinges or a locking mechanism. They can be printed standing up, saving space and improving print quality.
The lid and body have an additional magnetic closure option (the magnet holes can be closed or changed in the slicer).
the latches are “snap-on” and do not require additional assembly with screws.
***There is a model for only one set of the side panels, so it needs to be mirrored in the slicer— don't just copy it! The latch needs to be printed twice for both sides!
Tolerances: The tolerances are tailored to my specific 3D printer and settings, so your results may vary depending on your equipment and configurations.
Required hardware: M3 x 12mm Bolt (18 pcs, 8 for each side panel and 2 for the hinges)
