Overview
A complete Norman Town and motte & bailey castle in 15 mm / 1:100 scale.
Designed around a 40 mm hex side, the six 3-d printable parts tessellate to form a village, fort, castle or town of any size or shape. Good for DBA and other medieval wargames.
The hex form is a good compromise between a square form and an organic shape. Medieval cities were built with straight lines of palisade walls but the overall built-up-area was often sprawling and organic in shape. The hex-form effectively simulates this combination.
The six parts are: huts hex, castle tower hex, palisade gate, convex palisade, concave palisade, open hex.
