PV tool for use with both MC4 and EVO2 style solar connectors.

⚠WARNING⚠ Tool was design based on connectors made by Staubli/Multi-Contact, there is absolutely no guarantee it will be compatible with other brands.

Multifunctional spanner that can be used to:

hold connector nut

hold connector body

disconnect female and male pair

Please excuse the poor quality of my print, I had only a roll of old PET-G to work with. Print Settings ==============

Printer:

Craftbot+

Resolution:

0.2

Infill:

15-30%

Filament:

Nebula PET-G

light brown

Notes:

As with most thin prints key to structural strength is number of walls, 4-5 should be sufficient, infill % doesn't matter as much.

PET-G's springiness works nicely especially for the fork end of this tool (use it to disconnect mated connectors).

How I Designed This

Based on connectors made by Staubli / Multi-Contact
