Overview
WRC - 14: 1/14 Printable Chassis
I put a ton of energy into designing the WRC - 14 to be a genuinely great chassis. It’s a 1/14 scale platform that handles brilliantly whether you are running drifting tires, a rally setup, or standard road wheels—all without the headache of tracking down obscure, proprietary parts.
To keep things simple, I designed the main frame to fit together in just four pieces. Assembly is super fast: just print the parts, drop in your standard off-the-shelf hardware, and you're ready to drive.
True Modular Design: Smash a suspension arm? Just print another. The modular frame lets you swap, upgrade, and repair components in minutes without rebuilding the whole car.

MJX 14303 Rally Body Compatibility: Fits like a glove. The X-Frame Pro’s wheelbase and track width are specifically tailored to accommodate the 1/14 scale MJX 14303 rally car bodies.
Please Note: Custom 3D printable body mounts tailored perfectly to the 14303 shell are currently in development and will be added to this project very soon!
Printability Optimized: Parts are designed to minimize supports and ensure clean prints, especially on modern high-speed core-XY printers. For the best balance of flex and impact resistance on rally stages, PETG is highly recommended for the main structural components, alongside tougher materials like Nylon or ABS for the high-impact suspension arms.
Hardware Required - Parts List
To complete this build, you will need a specific donor vehicle for the drivetrain, alongside a simple metric hardware kit for assembly.
1. Donor Parts (MJX 14303 & Electronics) The X-Frame Pro is designed to utilize the mechanical guts and electronics of the MJX 14303. If sourcing parts individually instead of using a donor vehicle, you will need the following factory components and electronics:
Electronics & Motor
Servo: MG90S Metal Gear Micro Servo
ESC: E45P Brushless ESC
Motor Assembly: B284K & 16397 Motor Assembly
Motor Pinions: MJX 16392B 14T Motor Pinion
Motor Guard: 16393 Motor Guard
Drivetrain
Main Drive: 14400Y Metal Gears Main Driving Set
Differentials: 16420Y Metal Gears Diff Assembly (Requires Front & Rear)
Driveshafts: 14410 Metal F/R CVD Shaft
Wheel Hubs: 16440 Wheel Hex
Steering, Suspension & Wheels
Steering: Q1601 Steering Pivot Balls (8pcs)
Shocks: 14500 Oil Filled Shock
Tires/Wheels: 1415A2 Tires (Rubber)
2. Fasteners & Hardware The entire chassis is assembled using a single, pre-sorted metric hardware kit. This kit includes all the required M2.5, M3, and M4 screws, nuts, and suspension pins.
