Overview
This is the Drip Tray Float Clip / Water Level Indicator Bracket for a Saeco Syntia expresso machine.
Since its a 16 year old machine, the plastic tabs that hold the float clip piece got brittle and broke at some point, so the float clip just floated around in the tank and didn't actually indicate anything.

To ensure maximum durability and waterproofing, i recommend increasing wall loops to 4-6 and increasing layer height to 0.12-0.16mm to minimize gaps and using 100% infill so there is no place for water to get in.
- Notes on gluing
To ensure the best adheasion possible, it's good to sand the surface of the tank where it will be glued. Roughening the plastic removes the glossy finish and ensures the superglue has a textured surface to grab onto for a permanent bond.
It will be better if you also sand the bottom of the piece to remove the textured plate texture and make sure it's 100% flat.
I just used normal superglue to bond it to the tank, but i also designed the edges of the base with an angle so i can weld it with a soldering iron if needed.
*NOTE - It will sit just a little bit higher than the original since it needs to have a base for bonding with the tray.
All of the other Saeco machines i've seen have a really similar design for the float clip, maybe just modifying this design of mine to fit yours will work.
This is the first ever thing i actually 3d model myself and print so i'm kind of proud of it even tho it is really simple :)
