Zitz – Battletoads

Zitz, whose real name is Morgan Ziegler, is one of the three protagonists of the Battletoads franchise, alongside Rash and Pimple. He is the leader and most intelligent member of the Battletoads, acting as the team's strategist while also being a capable fighter. Unlike Pimple, who relies primarily on brute strength, Zitz is an economical fighter, preferring techniques that allow him to conserve his energy. His intelligence is also reflected in his signature Smash Hits, which incorporate mechanized weapons such as buzzsaws, drills, and a spiked bulldozer. Zitz is recognizable by his black gauntlets, spiked black kneepads, and black utility belt featuring the Battletoads insignia. His appearance and skin color have changed throughout the series, with his original Battletoads sprite notably using a tan coloration to distinguish him from Rash. Zitz has appeared throughout the Battletoads series and was the playable second player character in the original game. He also took the lead role in the Game Boy Battletoads, where he set out alone to rescue Rash and Pimple after they were captured by the Dark Queen.
