Overview

I recently acquired a WisMesh Repeater Mini for use in Meshtastic.

The vendor also offered adjustable pole mounts, but these were unsatisfactory: they were designed for larger diameter poles, were only as stable as the adjustments locking mechanisms, and were not in stock. I have CAD, a 3d printer, and more patience than sense.

This bracket is designed to mount to a 44mm diameter pole and I have uploaded a model for each 5-degree position between 25 degrees and 60 degrees. The model is designed to be hose clamped to the pole with a 14mm wide hose clamp.

While I included a bunch of options that should span the range of where most people on the planet live outside the tropics, there's a lot of dimensional space here. I have also included the source model created in Fusion, which is fully parametric. You can probably download the F3d and plug in your parameters for optimum sun angle, pipe diameter, and hose clamp width and get out a model that should work for your application. I've usually had good luck with adjusting parameters but fusion's wacky so YMMV.

The geometry of this design cannot be adapted for near tropical latitudes.

I have printed this in ASA and used it without substantial creep.
