Overview

Muruku's hollow knight model is real nice - the cloak floating, the conviction from the pose of the knight.. makes me want to print it.

Cut up and fixed the mesh so most of the parts can be a single color print.

The hand and the nail probably will still need to be a multi-color print, as I can't seem to find a good way to cut it.

====== print ======

Read the full description

The body / head and eyes should be simple - ish. Use tree support for head and body, the eye need no support at all. Make sure you clone and mirror one of the eye when printing it!

The cloak is a different story - There is not really a best orientation to print this one, as it just sprawl over all directions. I tried printing with the front of the cloak facing down, which comes out ok but support is still quite a lot. I will have to leave it to you to figure out best direction for printing the cloak. But no matter which direction you print at, be very careful when you are removing the support! Those cloak parts are pretty thin and fragile too.

hand and nail is best printing with the lowest height on build plate, if you will be trying to print multi-color.

Make sure you wait for the build plate cool down before removing body from the plate - the leg to platform connection is tiny and fragile. So do not bend that connection!

====== Assembly ======

push the eyes into the head, put the cloak onto body and push the head on the neck - these parts does not need glue, and you will be able to turn the head of the knight after assemble

Put the nail on to the nail handle and hand part, then insert that tiny pin of the hand to the body - It is best to glue the hand to body joint together as it is quite tiny. I should have cut it at a beefier place…

I personally print it at 50% size and it is quite cute. Enjoy!
