🔩 Assembly Details
The model is assembled using:
Crankshaft and camshafts : 6x bearings 608 (you can print it from included files),
Oil pan : 8 × M4 × 25 mm + nuts,
Cylinder heads : 8 × M4 × 25 mm + nuts,
Timing chain tensioner : 1 × M4 × 25 mm + nut, 608 bearing
Timing chain guides : 2 × M4 × 10 mm + nuts,
Optional DC motor mount :
Motor type: standard TT DC gear motor (48:1, 3–6 V, yellow plastic housing – widely available)
2 × M2.5 × 25 mm + nuts, or M3 × 25 mm screws (without nuts)
🔩 Printing tips
Camshafts : print vertically with supports (recommended) or print in two parts and press together
Crankshaft : print vertically with supports
Valves : print horizontally with supports (vertical printing likely to fail),
Timing chain : print with 0.16 mm layer height. Suggested material PLA
