Overview
Here are my Lightburn test files to cut and engrave different types of material on my K40E machine. Since it has a Ruida Controller I'm able to use LIghtburn. It is a good start to see the limitations of your machine and alignment of your mirrors. I originally did the test files using Lightburn power scale feature but for some reason the Ruida Controller doesn't like it and won't recognize the min and max powers. So I had to make each test individually and separate the Cut and Engraving since they originally were on one card with more settings. Basically I ran out of layers when I removed the power scale so I was limited to the 30 layers in Lightburn. The acrylic was engraved with the protective mask on and then paint filled prior to removing the mask. For relationship of power to current on my machine: 20% = 4.5ma 25% = 6ma 30% = 8.5ma 35% = 9.75ma 40% = 12ma 43% = 13.25ma
