How licences map

Every marketplace states its own licence in its own words. SliSearch groups those statements into seven families so you can filter across all five sources at once. This page publishes the whole mapping.
NOTE
SliSearch reports what the marketplace states. It does not check the statement, and it is not legal advice. Read the licence on the marketplace page before you use a model, and treat that page as the authority.
The seven families#
They run from least restrictive to most. Where a licence carries more than one restriction, the most restrictive family wins, so a filter never shows you something more permissive than the label allows.

A Creative Commons licence with several clauses takes the family of its strictest clause. CC BY-NC-SA is noncommercial, not copyleft, because a reader filtering for commercial use must not be shown it.

CC BY-SA reads as attribution rather than share the source. Share alike binds what you publish, not whether you may use it, and the family answers the second question.

Marketplace licences#
Four of the five sources publish licences of their own. None of them is an open licence, so all of them read as marketplace terms. Read the marketplace's own page for what each one permits.

Two of these are worth reading twice. The Cults3D CU licence permits commercial use, which is not the same as being an open licence, so it still reads as marketplace terms. MakerWorld's Open Community License is named for openness and its terms live on MakerWorld, so it reads the same way.
Not stated#
A model lands in unknown when the listing carried no licence at all, or
carried wording SliSearch does not recognise. It is not a claim that the model
is unlicensed. It means SliSearch will not guess.
When this page is wrong#
A marketplace can change its licence names without telling anyone. When a label stops matching, new models land in Not stated rather than in the wrong family, which is the safer direction to fail. Report a model whose licence here disagrees with the marketplace page, and the mapping gets corrected.
